About the studio

One founder. Fifty digital employees.

Derry~Londonderry-based AI-first migration studio. The fleet of 50 codified skills handles charter scoping, eval design, build, deploy, and observability.

The founder owns architecture and customer trust. Every commit passes a human-in-the-loop gate before it ships.

Isometric illustration: a single luminous monolith surrounded by an orbital ring of fifty smaller nodes — the founder and the fleet of codified digital employees.

Founder note

I'd been an engineering leader for eighteen years. Last year I rebuilt my own day around AI. The leverage was undeniable.

So I shut down the consultancy and started this. NeoMigrate is the same craft I practised before — modernisation, security, durability — only the tooling has changed underneath. The studio runs on fifty codified skills. I run the studio.

If the work matters to you, it matters to me. Everything else is implementation detail.

Manifesto

Twelve theses on the new shape of work.

What we believe about software, hiring, and trust in the era of codified skills. Not slogans — operating principles we run on.

  1. Thesis 1: Most code is now written by machines.

  2. Thesis 2: Engineers are now editors, not authors.

  3. Thesis 3: The unit of hire is a skill, not a person.

  4. Thesis 4: A skill is a charter plus an eval suite plus a budget.

  5. Thesis 5: Skills compose — teams assemble at request time.

  6. Thesis 6: Human-in-the-loop is the moat, not the weakness.

  7. Thesis 7: Margins follow leverage, not headcount.

  8. Thesis 8: Trust scales by consistency, not by certification.

  9. Thesis 9: The founder is the editor-in-chief.

  10. Thesis 10: Specialisation beats generalisation at the skill level.

  11. Thesis 11: Audit trails matter more than process documents.

  12. Thesis 12: Capacity is a software problem.

Counter-positioning

What we don't do.

The shortest way to explain a studio is to name the four shapes it refuses to take.

  • We don't sell time.

No T&M, no day-rates, no hourly invoices. Every engagement is a fixed shape with a fixed price.

  • We don't carry an FTE roster.

One founder plus fifty codified agents. Hiring is a software problem we solve at the skill level, not the headcount level.

  • We don't take projects under £2K.

Below that threshold a free assessment is the right tool. The Migration Assessment tier starts at £2K for a reason.

  • We don't take projects we can't ship in under 6 weeks.

Big-bang migrations fail. We decompose, deliver in pilots, and let the second engagement compound on the first.

Engagement shapes

Seven tiers, one studio.

From a £2K assessment to bespoke modernisation, every engagement is one fixed shape.
